This public speaking symposium, sponsored by the Florida Speakers Association and featuring instruction from 3 world-class public speakers, is a landmark educational opportunity for presenters and speakers of all types wishing to improve their abilities to deliver engaging and effective presentations.

The key to effective presenting is to be memorable and repeatable. When speakers attain those qualities they become referable and promotable. In this opening session we’ll examine the elements leveraged by professional speakers to delight their audiences and cause them to want more.

The symposium’s first presenter, Lou Heckler, CSP, CPAE, has been a beloved member of the National Speakers Association for nearly 30 years. A master storyteller, he has been speaking professionally for nearly 35 years. His presentations are filled with relevant content, engaging stories, and his trademark whimsical sense of humor.

Professionals from the special event & meeting planning, catering, festivals, professional speaker and green associations have worked together to create an amazing event you won’t want to miss: Imagine a party put on by the pros who do parties for a living! This year’s charity event will be benefitting Feeding South Florida & Young at Art Museum. Last year we had over 500 industry professionals attend and raised over $14,000 for charity.
This exciting event will be held on Thursday, December 11th at Young at Art Museum, Davie, Florida from 6-11 pm. All profits will be donated to Feeding South Florida and Young at Art.
The theme for the evening is “Worlds of Imagination: Oh the Places You’ll Go.” There’ll be five separate worlds, “Wonderland,” “Oz and The Emerald City,” “The Chocolate Factory,” “Neverland” and “The World of Dr. Seuss,” which serves as our guide. Each world will have matching food/beverages, décor and entertainment.
VIP registration includes early entry to a VIP cocktail reception, a dedicated bar and food station for the entire night, and a VIP lounge overlooking the main entertainment area.
Come prepared to have fun and be transported to another world! You can even dress up as your favorite character from one of these worlds! (optional)
